1. Write down as many things that are white.

Next. Another 15 seconds...


2. Write down all the white things in your fridge.


If your like most people, you probably had an easier time with number 2. Why?

Evidence shows that are brains are more focused when we are given limited and more concrete problems. If you've been reading my blog you'll know I'm a advocate of having limited and focused goals. I'm reading Made to Stick. I've read it before and think it's well worth the time to spend again with it.

This idea of concreteness is just one of six principles that authors discuss in their book.
